Flirting With Death / It's A Wonderful Life

Talking about death can feel intimidating, but every discussion of endings is really a conversation about the meaning of the stories we've lived up to that point. This month, Sunday Assembly goes on an exploration of mortality– what scares us, what makes life worth living, and what values and gifts we want to leave behind.

Featuring: Greta Christina (http://sundayassemblysiliconvalley.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=7a...), author, Comforting Thoughts About Death that Have Nothing to do With God

The Threshold Choir, (http://sundayassemblysiliconvalley.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=7a...) a community whose mission is to sing for and with those at the thresholds of life

We'll sing songs to make you feel great with the help of our live band– and there will be inspiring stories and readings to further explore the wonder of our world.

Help often? Because it is Socktober, our goal is 50 pairs of socks for Bill Wilson Center. Teen and youth sizes are best. https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/7/e/5/600_465026597.jpeg

Doors open at 10:30am for coffee and donuts, and the event kicks off at 11:00am sharp. Because this is a big event, assembly will run 75 minutes this time.

Everyone is welcome. We provide two babysitters, so bring the family.

Sunday Assembly is free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Free parking is available in our onsite parking lot, and street parking is also free on Sundays.
