October Assembly - Remember

Join us October 14 when our theme will be "Remember". As has become our annual custom, we'll be talking about remembering our loved ones.

We'll have a Mexican style Day of the Dead "ofrenda", feel free to bring pictures of those you'd like to remember to place on it. There will be songs, readings, and socializing. Come and help us inspire each other.

Storyteller, comedian, and slam poetry champion Mighty Mike McGee will read for us. Mike is the current Poet Laureate of Santa Clara County and frequently appears on NPR's Snap Judgement.

We are excited to welcome back Ellen Rose and The Threshold Choir. The Threshold Choir is a community whose mission is to sing for and with those at the thresholds of life. They will teach us a song, and singing with this group feels amazing.

With the help of our live band we will sing some Beatles and Flaming Lips– and there will be inspiring stories and readings to further explore the wonder of our world.

Sunday, October 14, 11am (Drop in early to put something on the ofrenda, or just say hello.)

890 Church Street, Mountain View, California 94042

Everyone is welcome. We provide child care, so bring the family.

Sunday Assembly is free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. Free parking is available in our onsite parking lot, and street parking is also free on Sundays.
