July Assembly - Compassion

Our speaker, Lisa Blanchard, is the founder and executive director of the Grateful Garment Project, a non-profit that seeks to ensure that no victim of sexual assault ever experiences further suffering due to lack of resources. Sexual assault victims are often asked to give up their clothing as evidence after seeking medical attention and typically leave with nothing but a hospital gown to wear. The Grateful Garment Project provides clothes and other resources that they may need.

Help Often Opportunity! Bring a package of new underwear to donate to The Grateful Garment. They suggest buying underwear for your own gender in the size and style you find comfortable for yourself.

Take our song poll to help pick our July songs!

Doors open at 10:30am for coffee and snacks, and at 11:00am on the dot we will have great talks, live music and secular celebration.

Please bring a potluck item and stick around afterward for food & friendship.

Sunday Assembly is free of charge, and donations are gratefully accepted.

Everyone is welcome. Free childcare provided.

Free parking is available in our onsite parking lot, and street parking is also free on Sundays.
