June Assembly - Summer Solstice
Summer Solstice (and Father’s Day) fall on a Sunday, one week after our June Assembly. Let's celebrate at Assembly!
Our guest speaker, Mark Green, “developed for himself what is now called Atheopaganism: a supernatural-free religious tradition of celebrations, observances, meditations and other meaningful practices, the goal of which is to increase happiness both individually and in society, and to foster the development of a more sustainable, just and kind world.” https://theapsocietyorg.wordpress.com
Join this month’s host, Alex Rudnick, for online socializing, our guest speaker's talk, sing-alongs, a creative-space reading, thought-provoking talks, a moment of reflection, and Life Happens announcements!
Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 10:30am PDT! Online!
SASV is an inclusive secular community, meaning we don’t advocate for any religious or spiritual beliefs, but we do welcome and respect others, including agnostics, atheists, humanists, believers, and LGBTQ people.
We usually have 40+ attendees. Before and after the celebration, we'll have optional breakout-room social mingling. During the celebration, all but the presenters are muted, but you can sing along, text chat, and share your video so that you and your live image are part of the experience.
Sunday Assembly is free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted. Please celebrate life with us!
