Sunday Assembly for July 12th - Come Together

Come Together Right Now

Equality. What does that word really mean to you? We have seen love win in the Supreme Court, but has hate really lost? Charleston was a poignant reminder that communities remain divided. Because we are a secular congregation, Sunday Assembly Silicon Valley can bring all types of people together to live better, help often, and wonder more.

So come celebrate this one life we know we have with us on Sunday. Our monthly assembly is energizing and inspiring. This month, speaker Mahnani Clay, director and founder of Project Cheer (Community Helping Everyone Encourage Restoration). Clay holds leadership roles in both the San Francisco Black Leadership Forum and the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club.

Kids- Don't miss joining us on Sunday morning because you need to watch the kids. We have a community for them, too! Bring them along to participate in crafts in the adjoining tea room while their parents relax and enjoy.

Music- Singing is good for you. Our singers and musicians rock through the kind of pop sings you might sing in the shower.

Fellowship - Join us for coffee/tea at 10:30 and tasty snacks right after Assembly. After assembly, some of us wander down the street to a nice shady patio near House of Bagels.
