March Assembly - Adventure
They recommend that those over 50 as well as those with health conditions should stay home and away from crowded social gatherings of people as much as possible where large numbers of people are within arm’s length of one another.
Those who would like to get together are welcome to join us for a social hour in lieu of Sunday Assembly. Bring your own lunch and water, meet and catch up with other Assemblers. Maybe we'll do some singing, if those in attendance feel like it.
Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds when you arrive, avoid close contact with others, and remember to not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Sunday Assembly is an inclusive secular community made up of agnostics, atheists, humanists, and believers. Whatever you believe, you are welcome. We come together to celebrate life with inspiring speakers, fun group singing, and connecting over potluck.
Cancelled:
Our guest speaker will be David Cohn, a scientist, flight instructor, award-winning author, and...well, basically a dilettante. In 2010 he left his position as the tech lead for Google Labs to become the "Helpdesk at the Bottom of the World," fixing printers and resetting forgotten passwords for scientists working at the Amundsen Scott South Pole Station. He's never really looked back.
We will have coffee and tea at 10:30 am, celebration at 11:00 am, and potluck at noon. Bring a dish to share!
Sunday Assembly is free. There is free childcare and free onsite and street parking. Donations and help with setup/cleanup are gratefully accepted.
See you there!
